
GDC, no, not the Grandmother Dancing Competition they hold in Oklahoma every year. I’m talking about the Game Developer Conference. For those who don’t know, GDC is an event where people within the gaming industry go to network with one another. You walk up to a person and you go, “hi, would you like to look at my arcade game where you pet a giant cat’s butt,” and then that leads to you working at whatever company makes all the games you see at Dave & Buster’s. Besides that, though, it’s also a place for game developers to show off the amazing games we’ll be getting to play at home. And even though I wasn’t able to attend GDC, with the help of several gaming events like the Future Game show stream, I was able to see some of these incredible games. So with that said, here are the 17 best games I learned about from GDC.
