When Nintendo announced a surprise 60-minute Direct, everyone’s ears perked up. The predictions ran wild. After all, when it comes to these types of events, 60 minutes is a lifetime. What could they show? A new Smash Bros.? Animal Crossing?? Zelda?! Mario!?!? The number of predictions one could make is endless when you consider the fact that so little is known about Nintendo’s 2026. So, with that said, I have what I believe to be the biggest announcements from today’s event spotlighted down below.
