After being away for a decade, the pressure riding on College Football 2025 was immense. Could it deliver? Would it be the game that so many waited for? While it wasn’t a perfect experience, it was the game I put the most time into and one of my favorite games of the entire year. The fact that it wasn’t even nominated for Best Sports Game of the Year at the Game Awards really showed how weak certain sections of coverage in the games industry can be. That said, the game did lack certain features that held 2025 from being the dream experience for long-time fans looking to spend their free time building their dynasty. But a yearly franchise fixing previous installment problems isn’t always a guarantee. After all, College Football 25 was the best-selling sports game of all time. There’s a world where EA just lets the game continue ot thrive off of its name recognition. If it ain’t broke, why fix it, right? WRONG!
