Are you rushing or dragging?
Everyone says it, but when I say it, I mean it. I love music. All kinds. I’ll listen to anything. I don’t care if it’s Saul Williams, Childish Gambino, Michael Jackson, The Beatles, or Sleep Token. If it’s good music, I’m listening to it. You know what I’m terrible at? You guessed it. Put an instrument in my hands, and you might as well ask me to perform magic, and I don’t mean the kind you see at a kid’s birthday party; I’m talking about Merlin. Thankfully, there are quite a few developers out there who recognize the struggles I’ve been born into. They say, Don’t worry, my rhythmically challenged friend; here’s a game where even you can make beats and be told that what you’ve made is good enough for money.

In case you haven’t figured it out by now, OFFBEAT is another one of these games looking to let me live out the dream I never will. In OFFBEAT, with the help of your Uncle, you start off on a musical journey, taking on one job after another. The phone rings, a quirky character makes a request, and as long as you follow that request, they’ll tell you the music you’ve created is exactly what they were looking for. Talk about a confidence booster! By the time I was done with this demo, I was ready to quit my job, delete this website, and start travelling the country with my beloved music.
Seriously, though, if you like games in the music genre, OFFBEAT is a lot of fun, and I’d highly recommend everyone check this demo out. As always, make sure to click the link up top to add OFFBEAT to your wishlist, and make sure you click the video down below to hear the song that my video game Uncle declared the best ringtone anyone has ever heard.
